Anthill Annihilation is a third person action game where you play as an shrunken down exterminator taking care of an ant problem one by one. 

The player would advance through a series of levels delving deeper and deeper into the anthill, fighting off armies of ants and uncovering what secrets lie beneath the surface.

Anthill Annihilation would feature a variety of enemy types, ranging from regular Ant Workers to huge centipedes and beetles, and even mutated ants.

The focus of the project initially was to try and have a player character that feels big and weighty, but not so sluggish that it is irritating to move around. Over time the focus shifted over to the animations of the ants, and how they walk around.

I got a lot of experience with modelling and rigging characters, animating them both with keyframe animations, and in-engine. 

​

As mentioned previously, this project became a nice platform for me to play around with. Any experiments or tests would be done in this project, which is why there's long ants, turret ants and a katamari. 

​
